01What is Duesheet?
Duesheet is a web app by DanixSoft for freelancers and small studios who bill clients abroad. It sends proposals clients accept online, issues numbered invoices in USD, GBP, EUR, PKR and four other currencies, gives each client a portal link, records what actually landed in rupees, and sends reminders before and after the due date.
02How much does it cost?
Duesheet is free during early access: every feature, with no limit on clients or invoices and no card required. Pricing will be announced before early access ends, and nothing is charged automatically.
03Can clients pay by card through it?
No. Online card payment is not built: it needs a merchant account with a payment provider that supports Pakistani businesses. Your invoices show your own payment instructions (bank, Payoneer, Wise or anything else), your client pays the way they already do, and you record the payment.
04How does it know the exchange rate?
It does not guess. When a payment reaches you, you enter what landed in your account in rupees, and the rate you actually got (after fees and conversion) is worked out from that. Nothing is fetched from a rate feed, so your income figures are the money you really received.
05Does my client need an account?
No. Each invoice and proposal has a private link with a long random code, and each client has one portal link listing all their documents. You can change a client’s portal link at any time, which stops the old one working.
06Can I edit an invoice after sending it?
Yes, until a payment is recorded against it. After that it can no longer change; if it was wrong, void it and issue a corrected one. Numbers are never reused, so your sequence stays complete.
07How do reminder emails work?
When email sending is set up, the app emails the client three days before the due date, on the due date and a week after, once each. Every email has a one-click opt-out, and you can turn reminders off per client. Without email set up, you get the reminder text ready to copy and a button that opens your own email app.
08Can I bill a retainer every month?
Yes. Set up a recurring invoice weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly. Each run creates a draft for you to check, or sends it straight away if you choose.
09Can a studio use it with more than one person?
Yes. The owner invites members by email. Members create clients, proposals and invoices and record payments. Only the owner can void an invoice, reverse a payment or change workspace settings.
10Is this tax or legal advice?
No. Duesheet records the invoices and payments you enter. It does not tell you what tax applies or how to file. Use the CSV exports with your accountant.
11Can I export my data?
Yes. Invoices and payments export as CSV files that open in Excel or Google Sheets, and every invoice downloads as a PDF.
12Is my data kept separate from other freelancers?
Yes. Every record belongs to one workspace and the database only lets that workspace’s members read or change it. A client only ever sees their own documents through their links.
